1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Acceptance of terms:

• Confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms
• Guarantee your legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• Undertake to comply with all provisions of these Terms

Term definitions:

• Academic Mobility – the ability of participants in the educational process to study, teach, intern or conduct scientific activities in another educational institution within Ukraine or abroad.
• Course – structured educational content organized into modules, including lectures, practical tasks, tests and other educational materials.
• Certificate – an electronic document confirming successful completion of a course or training program.
• Educational Content – all educational materials, including video lectures, presentations, texts, assignments, tests and other resources.

Age restrictions:

• Minimum age for independent registration – 14 years
• Persons aged 14 to 18 must have permission from parents or legal guardians
• For participation in academic mobility programs – minimum 18 years

2. USER ACCOUNTS

Account types:

• Listener – basic access to open courses and materials
• Student – full access to courses, ability to obtain certificates, participation in academic mobility programs
• Instructor – creating and managing courses, moderation, student assessment
• Educational Institution Partner – student group administration, access to analytics, integration with internal systems
• Administrator – technical and organizational platform management

Registration and verification:

• Provide accurate, precise and complete information
• Keep profile data up to date
• Pass identity verification to obtain official certificates
• Do not create multiple accounts without justified necessity

Account security:

• Maintaining confidentiality of password and login credentials
• All actions performed under your account
• Immediate notification of unauthorized access
• Using two-factor authentication (recommended)

3. PLATFORM USAGE

Permitted activities:

• Learning and professional development
• Teaching and creating educational content
• Participation in academic mobility programs
• Scientific research and academic collaboration
• Obtaining certificates and qualifications
• Professional networking in the educational community

Academic integrity rules:

• Complete assignments independently, unless otherwise specified
• Do not use plagiarism in any form
• Properly cite sources and provide references
• Do not falsify test results
• Do not share your login credentials for others to complete assignments
• Respect the intellectual property of instructors and other students

Community rules:

• Maintain mutual respect and tolerance
• Use constructive criticism
• Avoid discrimination on any basis
• Support an inclusive environment
• Help other students within the bounds of academic integrity

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Platform content rights:

Educational content created by the DigiUni team, Design, logos, trademarks, Software and technical solutions, Databases and course structure are objects of intellectual property rights and are protected by Ukrainian legislation and international agreements.

User license:

• Viewing and studying educational materials
• Downloading materials for personal non-commercial use
• Using materials for educational purposes with mandatory source attribution

User content:

• Retain all rights to your original content
• Grant DigiUni a perpetual, free, non-exclusive license to use content
• Guarantee that you have all necessary rights to the posted content
• Allow other users to use your content for educational purposes

Open educational resources:

5. ACADEMIC MOBILITY

Participation conditions:

• Have a verified account
• Be a student of an accredited educational institution
• Meet the requirements of a specific program
• Provide necessary documents for enrollment

Recognition of learning outcomes:

• The platform facilitates recognition of learning outcomes between partner institutions
• The final decision on credit transfer is made by the educational institution
• DigiUni provides all necessary documentation to confirm learning

6. PAYMENT AND REFUNDS

Free and paid services:

• Provided free of charge: access to open courses, basic platform features, community participation
• Paid services include: verified certificates, specialized programs, individual mentoring, corporate solutions

Payment terms:

• Payment is made through secure payment systems
• Prices are indicated in hryvnias including VAT
• Payment confirmation is sent to email

Refund policy:

Refund is possible within 14 days of payment subject to:

• Completion of less than 10% of the course
• Absence of issued certificate
• Submission of a justified request

7. PRIVACY

Collection, processing and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

By registering on the platform, you agree to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and current Ukrainian legislation.

8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Strictly prohibited:

• Legal violations: Any illegal activity
• Violation of intellectual property rights
• Fraud and document falsification

Technical violations:

• Attempts at unauthorized system access
• Use of automated tools without permission
• Distribution of malicious software
• DDoS attacks or other destructive actions

Unacceptable behavior:

• Harassment, bullying, discrimination
• Posting offensive or obscene content
• Spreading misinformation
• Commercial advertising without permission

9. LIABILITY

Platform liability limitations:

• Indirect or incidental damages
• Accuracy of third-party content
• Technical failures beyond our control
• Results of using acquired knowledge

Platform guarantees:

• Proper quality of educational services
• Personal data protection
• Issuance of certificates upon meeting requirements
• Technical user support

Damage compensation:

• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal use of the platform
• Violation of third party rights

10. TERMINATION

User-initiated termination:

• Account deletion in settings
• Written request to support@digiuni.com

Platform-initiated termination:

• Violation of these Terms
• Suspicion of fraud
• Legal requirements
• Inactivity for 24 months

Termination consequences:

• Platform access is blocked
• Issued certificates remain valid
• Personal data is processed according to the Privacy Policy
• Payments for unused services are refunded according to the refund policy

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Pre-litigation settlement:

We try to resolve all disputes through negotiations within 30 days

Applicable law:

These Terms are governed by Ukrainian legislation

Jurisdiction:

Disputes not resolved in pre-litigation procedure are considered by the respective courts of Ukraine at the location of DigiUni

12. CHANGES TO TERMS

Amendment procedure:

• We may update these Terms unilaterally
• Notification of significant changes is sent 30 days in advance
• Continued use after changes means agreement to new terms

Version archive:

All previous versions of Terms are available upon request

13. FINAL PROVISIONS

Entire agreement:

These Terms constitute the complete agreement between the parties regarding platform use

Severability:

Recognition of individual provisions as invalid does not affect the validity of other provisions

Waiver of rights:

Our failure to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver of such right

Force majeure:

Parties are released from liability for non-performance of obligations due to force majeure circumstances
